If headaches are running your calendar
Most people arrive having tried a drawer full of medications, with no clear diagnosis and no plan. We start over: what kind of headache is this, what sets it off, what has already been tried, and what has not. You get a full hour, a complete neurological exam, and a written plan you take home.
We treat migraine with and without aura, chronic migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, occipital neuralgia, post-traumatic headache, and headaches caused by overusing pain medication, which is one of the most common and most fixable problems we see.
What treatment can look like
- Acute treatment to stop an attack: triptans, gepants, and newer options if the old ones failed you
- Prevention: oral preventives, CGRP monoclonal antibodies, or gepants taken to prevent rather than rescue
- Botox for chronic migraine if you have 15 or more headache days a month: 150 units every 12 weeks, $1,800 including the medication
- Occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections, often done the same day, for relief that can start within minutes
- The unglamorous parts that work: sleep, triggers, caffeine, and getting off the rescue medication that may be feeding the cycle
What to bring
Your medication list, anything you have tried and stopped, prior imaging, and two weeks of a headache diary if you can manage it. The diary is the single most useful thing you can bring, and we will send you one when you book.

The Headache Care Plan covers a follow-up visit each quarter, messaging between visits, refills, and 10% off in-office procedures. It is not insurance. A deposit holds your appointment and is applied to your bill: $100 for visits and injections, $900 for Botox.
When a headache is an emergency
Go to the emergency room, not to a scheduled appointment, for a sudden worst-ever headache, a headache with fever and a stiff neck, one that follows a head injury, or any headache with new weakness, numbness, confusion, or trouble speaking or seeing.
